Leitch Technology completes acquisition of Inscriber

Leitch Technology announced Jan. 10 that it has completed the acquisition of Inscriber Technology.
As announced on Dec. 16, 2004, Leitch entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Inscriber for a total purchase price of $18 million cash, including the assumption of $1.5 million in debt.
According to a statement from Leitch, Inscriber’s product line complements Leitch’s offerings, and the acquisition is expected to expand Leitch’s broadcast graphics, content branding and logo generation capabilities.
