Vizrt, Microsoft agree to create broadcast graphics visualization

Vizrt and Microsoft have announced an agreement to create a new graphics visualization and content provisioning offering for broadcasters. This solution will enable broadcasters to use aerial imagery and other technology from Microsoft’s Virtual Earth platform with the same control they are accustomed to through Viz|Curious World Maps.

This agreement will provide Vizrt’s customers with access to the kind of distribution scale Microsoft can offer across multiple platforms, including TV, Web and mobile. This initiative will enable broadcasters to reach and inform both existing and new audiences even more effectively.
