Annova Systems will demonstrate core newsroom functionalities and new features included in its OpenMedia v3.5 as well as highlight new integration with systems from Apple, Avid, Quantel and S4M during IBC2008, Sept. 12-16.

OpenMedia Interface Services (OMIS) provides a straightforward plug-in interface for third-party systems. OMIS integration with production systems from a wide range of developers, including Avid, Dalet, Omneon, Quantel and Sony, provides a seamless workflow for journalists.

Annova Systems has added a new event calendar module to OpenMedia v3.5 that offers improved show planning capabilities for organizing and bundling events and related materials for stories or shows. With the ability to create a container for any event, the new module lets journalists identify, locate and access all contacts, sources, reference files, research, video and other related data.

OpenMedia v3.5 also includes a new administration tool that simplifies the administration of multiple OpenMedia Connect systems.
