The Vitec Group has named Michael Accardi as president of its Anton/Bauer business.
In his new role, Accardi is charged with taking the company’s business to the next level and reinforcing its reputation. According to Accardi, his goal as the company’s new president is to maintain its “sterling reputation” as well as identify where it can expand its global and U.S. business.
Accardi assumes the new role at Anton/Bauer after serving as president of Autoscript, which he joined in 2004 and helped transform into a teleprompting solutions leader. With its success, the company attracted the attention of the Vitec Group, which purchased it in 2006. Accardi remained for two years until his appointment at Anton/Bauer as head of sales for the Americas from 1994 to 2001.
