Autoscript Magno foot control overcomes compression spring limitation
Dec 5, 2008 10:07 AM
Autoscript has launched the Magno foot control, a frictionless magnetic technology inspired by automotive engineering that overcomes a limitation of existing control devices using a compression spring mechanism, namely weakening over time.
The service-free Magno control connects directly with the WinPlus prompter software, offering built-in intelligence to allow production staff or multiple presenters to allocate any controller for use at any time and with failsafe accuracy. Using intuitive deskpad keys, the presenter can immediately assign specific controllers, view which ones are live, personalize them and enable or disable them.
This eBook provides both new and veteran shooters an in-depth understanding of the technology that lies between the camera lens and the recording medium and how to maximize a camera's performance.
