Harris’ Videotek QuiC is a fully automated, file-based test and measurement server platform that verifies the quality of compressed digital content.
FOX Channels Italy’s broadcast operations in Rome have begun using a new Harris Videotek QuiC media analysis server to support automated quality control in its new tapeless workflow.
At FOX Channels Italy, content is ingested and processed, local branding is added and trailers and promos are created. Content is delivered over an IP circuit to Sky for transmission. The QuiC media analysis server provides FOX with a consistent away to analyze a long list of QC parameters before the content is distributed.
QuiC is a fully automated, file-based test and measurement server platform that verifies the quality of compressed digital content. HD content is inspected at twice real-time speed, and SD content is tested up to five times faster than real time.
