German broadcaster covers UEFA Euro 2008 with Annova OpenMedia

German TV broadcaster ARD used Annova’s flagship OpenMedia solution to report on the 2008 European Football Championship games.
ARD implemented the enterprise OpenMedia system across all game reporting facilities, including the DFB headquarters in Tenero, Ascona, the IBC in Vienna, all game venues in Austria and Switzerland and game locations in Germany.
The OpenMedia setup enabled journalists to report on all aspects of the championship soccer events, including real-time coverage, press briefings and other news feeds. OpenMedia also manages the rundown, allowing for last-minute updates from any of the locations.
