German media service provider orders nine ND SatCom SNG trucks

German media service provider Media Broadcast, formerly known as T-Systems Media & Broadcast, has ordered nine redundant satellite newsgathering (SNG) vehicles for its fleet.
The vehicles are HD-ready and will be used primarily for live sports broadcasting. They are equipped with SkyRAY MAS 1900 antenna subsystems as satellite uplinks; some include 750W outdoor high-power amplifiers.
Six of the vehicles are ND SatCom classicSNG trucks, which are mainly used for uplinking services. The three others are ND SatCom productionSNG trucks equipped with broadcast production equipment integrated by ND SatCom in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
