JVC to showcase new ProHD camcorder in Park City, UT

The new JVC GY-HM100 records 35Mb/s HD video to SDHC media cards.
JVC will show the GY-HM100, the latest in its line of ProHD camcorders, at Variety’s New York Lounge in Park City, UT, Jan. 16-18, 2009.
Just unveiled, the GY-HM100 is a handheld 3-CCD HD camcorder that can record 35Mb/s HD video and uncompressed audio directly to SDHC media cards in the native QuickTime format used by Apple Final Cut Pro. The GY-HM100 streamlines workflow and keeps media costs down, without sacrificing quality or performance.
The GY-HM100 is scheduled for delivery in April 2009.
