Sachtler unveils range of new accessories for Reporter 8LED on-camera light

The first Sachtler LED luminaire offers input power of 8W and light output of 250 lumens.
Sachtler showcased a range of new accessories for the Reporter 8LED on-camera light at IBC2008 in Amsterdam.
They include: a power connector set containing diverse extension and adapter cables; an optic set also offering a diffuser and two film holders; the mini croco clamp; the extension arm; the mounting base; and the mains power adapter.
The Reporter 8LED has an input power of 8W that produces a light output of 250 lumens. The Reporter 8LED offers input voltage of 6V-24V, making it appropriate for use with a range of cameras from small 7.2V HDV cameras to commonly used broadcast camcorders.
The standard Reporter 8LED is available as a daylight version; however, via an exchangeable LED module, camera operators are able to switch to tungsten light.
