Apr 11, 2008 8:11 AM
Cognacq-Jay Image, a subsidiary of the TDF Group, has selected T-VIPS JPEG2000 TVG415 video gateways for distribution of live video-over-IP networks from the National Assembly of France (Assemblée Nationale) and the French Senate (Sénat) on behalf of the Parliament Channel (La Chaine Parlementaire).
The TVG415 transmits SDI signals over IP networks, and using JPEG2000 compression, it can transmit TV signals over Ethernet links.
Cognacq-Jay Image is the system integrator for the project; the solution is supplied through T-VIPS’ French business partner IsoVision.
