New Vietnamese video vehicles rely on Leader test equipment

Two Leader LV5100D digital component waveform monitors reside in a rack inside a new TV production vehicle.
Madrid, Spain-based systems integrator Broad Telecom has selected four Leader test instruments for installation in two, three-camera digital production trucks for delivery to Vietnamese provincial TV stations Hagiang TV and Yenbai TV.
Each production truck is equipped with one Leader LV5100D digital component waveform monitor and one 5861V PAL waveform monitor. The Leader instruments are located in an area housing camera control and video mixing. The two vehicles will be used to cover a wide variety of news, cultural and sporting events.
The LV5100D allows analysis of color vectors and includes an EDH measurement facility to monitor serial transmission error. Leader's 5861V waveform monitor is equipped with various modes and trigger functions for video signal monitoring.
