Vizrt to highlight addition of Viz Link workflow support to products
Aug 15, 2008 8:00 AM
Vizrt will showcase the addition of Viz Link workflow support to several of its products during IBC2008, Sept. 12-16, in Amsterdam.
Viz Link, which bridges graphics and video workflows, will be available as part of the Viz Content Pilot content management system, Viz Multichannel branding system and Viz Trio CG software.
Viz Link was developed as an extension to Vizrt’s graphics solution to access Vizrt’s media asset management products. Viz Link allows video and graphics to be treated as part of the same workflow. Everything can be created using one system and one workflow. For example, a journalist creating a story in the newsroom system can select predefined graphic templates within Viz Content Pilot, which is integrated into the newsroom system. From the template, the journalist can search and select images or videos directly in the Viz Video Hub database. The filled-in template is then added directly to the newsroom system’s playlist.
