WCAX-TV adds Chyron solution for newsroom graphics

WCAX-TV, the family-owned CBS affiliate in Burlington, VT, has installed a Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics system driven by the company’s interFuse technology, Lyric PRO software and a CAMIO newsroom and media management system.
WCAX-TV, the CBS affiliate for Vermont and upstate New York, is using the HyperX running Lyric PRO for lower-thirds, full-screen and over-the-shoulder graphics in live news environments for the station’s analog, digital and Web channels.
LUCI, CAMIO's ActiveX newsroom client, enables WCAX-TV journalists to browse templates, edit text, replace images and movie files, preview graphics and insert them into stories from the station’s ENPS newsroom system.
