ATG Broadcast introduces enhanced SAM-E audio monitoring unit

ATG Broadcast has extended the versatility of its SAM-E series of audio monitoring units.

A new SDI-audio extractor option gives push-button front-panel access to each of eight audio channel pairs. Formerly, an operator had to select via DIP switches which of the four AES audio groups was to be monitored. Being quicker and easier-to-use, the audio extractor option makes the SAM-E range well suited for multichannel or multi-language applications.

Designed for desktop or rack-based installation, the SAM-E series has eight stereo inputs, digital carrier auto-sensing and amplified stereo outputs. Three versions are available to suit applications in studio control rooms, edit suites, technical areas and mobile production vehicles.
