Belo Television Group has purchased Neural Audio’s DTV 5.1 audio processing package, featuring MultiMerge and Neural Surround DownMix Mix-Edit System, for several of its stations.
MultiMerge offers a seamless solution by using a detector core that resolves 2.0 and 5.1 content image changes and performs upmixing when needed. In addition, the upmix algorithm operates in the frequency domain, which guarantees image stability and fewer artifacts in consumer surround speakers at home.
The product offers a solution for upmixing that’s stable and consistent. MultiMerge provides local content providers and advertisers with an effective means of addressing the address interoperability issues that exist today.
