Video content management and distribution solution provider BitCentral is supporting the Journal Broadcast Group’s sponsorship of the National Association of Black Journalists during its annual Convention and Career Fair Aug. 8-12 in Las Vegas.
The NABJ convention is featuring a student-produced daily newscast called NABJ-TV airing several times during the meeting. Student journalists are capturing video on Panasonic P2 cameras, ingesting the video into BitCentral mobile NLE workstations running Grass Valley Edius software and managing and playing out via BitCentral’s Précis Newsroom Production System installed at Journal Broadcasting’s KTNV, the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas.
