Maple Leafs to broadcast 20 CHL games during 2004-05 season
The Central Hockey League, a subsidiary of Global Entertainment, has entered into a partnership with Maple Leafs TV and Maple Leaf America to broadcast 20 CHL games during the 2004-05 season under a CHL Game of the Week package.

The CHL, a minor professional hockey league, has 17 teams located in the southwestern United States.

Vyvx, Spaceconnection launch multichannel per carrier platform
Vyvx and Spaceconnection have launched a dedicated channel delivery product to provide cable programmers, direct broadcast satellite (DBS) and other direct-to-home providers with an end-to-end video channel delivery solution.

Vyvx will provide fiber backhaul services of content to its Los Angeles teleport. Spaceconnection will provide a transponder on Galaxy XI for the multichannel per carrier distribution service.

ESPN, Main Events partner for ESPN2 Friday Night Fights pay-per-view
Main Events and ESPN have added a premier monthly boxing series within "ESPN2 Friday Night Fights" in 2005 that will feature two pay-per-view events.
