The FCC has announced details of its public hearing in Harrisburg, PA, today regarding media ownership.

The five-hour hearing will open at 9 a.m. and include two panel discussions and a 30-minute public comment session.

The hearing, the third to date on media ownership, will be held at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in the Sunoco Performance Theater.

The purpose of the hearing is to involve the public in the process of the 2006 Quadrennial Broadcast Media Ownership Review that the commission is currently conducting. The hearing is open to the public, and seating will be available on a first-come basis.
