Finland’s YLE relies on Lawo for Olympic sound solution

Finnish national broadcaster YLE (YLEIS RADIO, Finnish Radio and TV) relied on Diamond digital broadcast consoles leased from Lawo to mix audio for its presentation of the 2004 Summer Olympics from Athens.

The Diamond system fulfilled the need to have a flexible mixer that was up to the tasks of live production and could easily integrate into a sophisticated broadcast environment.
