Gefen releases HD-SDI, DVI scalers

Gefen is shipping two new scalers designed to enable a seamless conversion of different digital interfaces in the studio.

Both the HD-SDI to DVI Scaler and the DVI to HD-SDI Scaler offer professional up/downscaling of both SD and HD resolutions, enabling DVI sources and displays to be integrated into systems using SDI.

Each scaler supports single- and dual-link DVI and SDI modes, and can be up/downscaled and output in resolutions up to 1080p. The DVI to HD-SDI Scaler supports a large variety of input resolutions from VGA to WUXGA; the HD-SDI to DVI Scaler supports the same output resolutions.
