IDX camera light uses LED technology for long-life, low-power consumption

The LED-based X3 camera light offers power savings, resulting in longer battery life.

The IDX System Technology X3 on-board camera light features high-powered LED technology to improve performance and longevity.

The X3 combines LED technology with IDX’s power drive circuitry to deliver a long-lasting, on-board camera light that outputs about 35W at ‘daylight’ color temperature while consuming only 11W of power. The light’s high-efficiency helps maximize battery life for ENG shooters.

The LEDs used in the X3 have a useful life in excess of 10,000 hours. It does not require safety glass or a dichroic filter.
