Inter BEE to address evolving broadcast technologies

The United States may be nearing the completion of its transition from analog to digital broadcasting, but it isn’t alone.

Broadcasters in Japan are making preparations for their transition to digital in about three years, and Inter BEE, Nov. 19-21 at Makuhari Messe, Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, aims to help them by offering a bird’s-eye view of the digital technology shaping the future.

Inter BEE will present an integrated technology exhibition focused on broadcasting, communications, IT, audio and lighting. At the same time, Inter BEE Forum 2008 will conduct a conference schedule with the theme “New Breeze: The Next Generation Media Potential and Change.” Specialists in broadcasting, imaging and audio from Japan and around the world will participate.

This year, Inter BEE organizers also will add the Asia Content Theater to the event.
