JVC Professional Europe has introduced the GY-DV5100E 12-bit ADC professional DV camcorder, which features enhanced image quality and improved operational functions.
Using a newly developed 24-bit digital signal processor (DSP), the signal-to-noise ratio has been significantly increased enabling the camcorder to produce clearer and more distinct images.
The camcorder takes advantage of an integral 12-bit analog-to-digital converter to provide fine color detail throughout its 400 percent dynamic range.
The three-CCD camcorder provides increased clarity and has the ability to produce details and colors in both shaded and highlighted areas. It is well suited for use in, professional production, electronic newsgathering and videography.
