Leitch Technology introduced the new Videotek PTM-305 personal test and measurement device earlier this month at IBC2005 in Amsterdam.
The handheld test and measurement device offers multi-format functionality. The battery-powered PTM-305 is well suited for monitoring field production camera setup and equipment installations. It also works well for troubleshooting signal path issues related to analog and SD digital formats.
The PTM-305 includes a video test signal generator, color monitor, waveform monitor/vectorscope and an audio analyzer/monitor. The menu-driven interface makes navigating easy on the high-resolution, touch-screen display.
