Livewire Digital unveils M-Link universal content exchange server

Livewire Digital has launched the M-Link universal content exchange server to ensure breaking news events never go unreported.

M-Link allows newsrooms to process a large variety of content from a wide range of sources. The content can be transmitted over new satellite services like Inmarsat BGAN, traditional landlines, the Internet and mobile phones.

M-Link gives newsrooms a way to allow members of to the general public to deliver ad hoc content using a Web interface or via FTP, which complements media delivered to the same server from M-Link Voyager Lite or M-Link IP-Reporter.

Both SDI and analog playout are supported.
