The Media General Broadcast Group has contracted Miranda Technologies for a centralized graphics workflow solution based on the company’s Xmedia Suite template-based graphics workflow tools.
The Xmedia Suite system will support 24/7 access to Media General’s graphics archives with a range of graphics workflow tools for its news, marketing, sales and special projects departments across the company’s 23 network-affiliated TV stations.
The Xmedia Suite’s MOS-compliant ENPS and iNews plug-in software allows news producers and journalists to have immediate access to news images, graphic elements and templates directly from their newsroom desktops, including lower thirds, over-the-shoulder graphics images and full-screen builds with animated highlights. Finished graphics can quickly be dragged and dropped into the local news run-downs.
