NBC Olympics expands reliance on Pinnacle Systems for efficient workflow

NBC Olympics expanded its Pinnacle-based broadcast graphics infrastructure for the Athens Olympics by purchasing seven additional Pinnacle Deko character generators and two additional Pinnacle Thunder servers.

NBC Olympics installed 26 Deko systems for live and post-production use at the Games.

The Athens games are the fourth consecutive Olympics for which NBC has selected Pinnacle's networked workflow for live graphics. It also marks the first time NBC is airing the Summer Olympics in HD - a broadcast also supported by Pinnacle Deko graphics.
