Nucomm to introduce CC-1 camera control for CamPac 2

Nucomm will debut its new wireless CC-1 camera control unit (CCU) for use with the company’s CamPac 2 HD/SD COFDM camera-back transmitter at NAB2008.

The CC-1 expands the features of the CamPac 2 through a software-based data interface that allows the CamPac 2/CC-1 to work with various types of camera manufacturer control panels and command protocols.

The CC-1 uses the camera manufacturer’s original remote control or operations control panel, which lets operators work within a seamless environment between wired and wireless cameras. In addition, users can access all features and menus of the original control panel. The CC-1 also offers remote control over all CamPac 2 menu-driven features through a companion remote interface panel.

The CC-1 is available in two radio options: licensed 450MHz or unlicensed spread spectrum 900MHz.
