Zandar Technologies is helping bring sporting events to homes across Spain with the installation of MX MultiViewers in the new MediaPro outside broadcasting (OB) trucks.
MediaPro, Spain's largest OB fleet operator, holds the rights for major soccer games and other sporting events. It uses its OB fleet at major sports stadiums across the country.
The MX MultiViewers in each truck take feeds from location cameras and sport slo-mo servers for display on multi-image plasma screens so the operational staff can view key action.
By using multiviewer technology MediaPro is able to display up to 16 source signals on a single screen at the same time, saving rack space and reducing installation costs.
This multiviewer technology is particularly important in this environment where fast creative decisions are required at live events.
