Orad Hi-Tec Systems has signed a three-year contract with Dutch-based production house WK Producties to produce virtual ads and sports enhancements for the Dutch Football Premiere League Eredivisie.
The contract is valued at more than $3 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Orad's CyberSport system will be used to insert virtual carpet advertising and sports enhancement features for all 966 games during the upcoming three seasons. In addition, CyberSport will be used for other matches, such as the UEFA cup, Intertoto, Friendly matches and the Amstel cup. The system will be operated by Dutch sports production company WK Producties.
CyberSport inserts virtual carpets anywhere on the sidelines, areas where physical billboards can't be placed. Other features that will enhance the system further are expected in the future.
