Pakistan Television (PTV) has purchased four NewSwift 1.5m vehicle-mounted satellite antennas from Advent Communications.
The four NewSwift systems will be integrated into outside broadcast vehicles already in Pakistan and will be used to provide contribution links.
The Advent Communications NewSwift is a compact drive-away satellite antenna system with a motorized antenna built from lightweight carbon fiber.
The system is reliable in operation and easy to deploy at a breaking news story. It is available for C-, X-, Ku-, DBS- and Ka-band operation.
