RF Central is rolling out an expanded product offering with its RFX-PRX-II handheld COFDM monitor/receiver at the NAB Show, April 20-23, in Las Vegas.

Designed for a wide range of applications, including ENG confidence monitoring and security surveillance, the palm-sized receiver is available in 2GHz, 5.8GHz and 6.4GHz bands. To ensure durability, the system is fully ruggedized using an ABS plastic shell.

The PRX-II is equipped with a 5.6in high-resolution screen and offers record and playback capabilities via a user-replaceable flash memory card. The product can serve as a monitor/receiver and can also output composite or SVGA video and audio. Additionally, the PRX-II is CE-approved and RoHS-compliant. The unit receives COFDM DVB-T modulation in QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modes.
