Shotoku Broadcast introduces TRP-100 robotic pedestal

At IBC2007, Shotoku Broadcast Systems unveiled the TRP-100 robotic pedestal, which allows full X, Y and height camera movement in conjunction with conventional pan and tilt control, to support all studio applications. The Shotoku TR-8T control system controls the TRP-100.

Like Shotoku’s VR pedestals, the TRP-100 does not require specially marked flooring or additional sensors, easing installation and setup.

Compact, yet powerful, the TRP-100 supports camera configurations up to 220lbs while gliding through 750mm of elevation at speeds ranging from 1mm to 300mm per second. The TRP-100 is driven through standard Shotoku CMC electronics.
