Sky Channel has purchased and installed more than 50 JVC Pro TM-A101G 10in Status and TM-H1950CGE 19in Grade 2 monitors in its master control room, presentation suite and control rooms.

The monitors were bought and installed over a six-month period and after a comprehensive evaluation. The result of the evaluation was a change in policy by Sky Channel and a move away from its current monitor supplier to JVC.

The JVC TM-A101G is a 300 TV line color video monitor with PAL/NTSC composite video input, 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio select, audio input and bridged output. The TM-H1950CGE is a 750 TV line color video monitor with composite and Y/C video inputs, an input slot for optional component/SDI cards, audio input, 16:9 or 4:3 selectable aspect ratio and PAL/NTSC compatibility.
