SPJ to hold seminars for citizen journalists

The Society of Professional Journalists (SBJ) will conduct a series of workshops around the country to educate citizen journalists about the value of relying on responsible reporting practices in building their reputations.

The workshops will be held May 17-18 in Chicago, June 7-8 in Greensboro, NC, and June 28 in Los Angeles and will cover journalism ethics, media law, access to public records and meetings, reporting practices and the use of technology.
