Sundance Digital demonstrated practical examples of its Titan and FastBreak NXT products using the soon-to-be adopted BXF (Broadcast Exchange Format) standard at NAB2007.
The workflow efficiencies included real-time dub order, content management and as-run status updates. The company also highlighted its new publish to Sundance (P2S) feature in conjunction with an Avid editing system, in addition to new software releases and refinements to its Titan, FastBreak NXT and Intelli-Sat automation solutions.
The P2S feature permits an editor to publish newly created content, such as promos, commercial spots or program segments, to the on-air server for broadcast transmission. The P2S workflow maintains metadata integrity, while eliminating manual processes, such as dubbing to tape and re-digitizing.
