Telestream adds Final Cut Server, ProRes 422 support to Pipeline

Telestream has add new capability to its Pipeline network-based video capture device allowing ingest of media from tape or live sources directly into Final Cut Server, Apple’s new media asset management and workflow automation software.

Pipeline now also supports the Apple ProRes 422 post-production format. This support includes the ability to edit while ingesting for Final Cut Pro workflows. Telestream has announced immediate support for Pro Res 422 SD workflows; support for HD workflows will follow later this year.

Additionally, Telestream's Episode encoding software expands its format support beyond QuickTime to virtually any file format for Final Cut Server.
