Vyvx to provide clean feeds for the NFL

Vyvx, a provider of fiber-optic and satellite transmission solutions, will supply the National Football League with clean feed transmissions for NFL games.

The NFL will use the Vyvx VenueNet service to transmit non-branded, or clean, video feeds of the events from locations around the country to NFL Films in Mount Laurel, NJ. Additionally, Vyvx will deliver local and national pre-season game coverage to the NFL Network for live and tape-delayed broadcasts.

The clean feed transmissions will enable the NFL to edit content of NFL games for a number of different applications, which include VOD and PVR highlights for its cable and satellite partners.
