Oct 16, 2009 1:02 PM
WTVision transformed election results in real time of the Portuguese general election last month into on-air graphics that then were presented in different formats to viewers of TVI, RTP and Porto Canal in Portugal.
Working closely with Portuguese broadcasters TVI, RTP and Porto Canal, wTVision developed graphics and participated in the special coverage of the Portuguese general elections Sept. 27.
The 2009 coverage of the elections included the dynamic presentation of a large variety of real-time on-air graphics, including provisional projections, numbers of elected members of the parliament and final results.
WTVision handled the import and management of election results. The results were transformed in real time into on-air graphics that then were presented in different formats to viewers.
Before the elections, RTP called on wTVision to develop an interactive simulator for its special election coverage. The simulator allowed the presenter to access a large variety of election data provided by wTVision’s technology and present results on a large touch screen.
