The 2012 NAB Show attendance topped 92,000, a slight increase from the number of people who attended the convention the prior year, according to a new tally from the National Association of Broadcasters.
According to the count, total registered attendees reached 92,112 this year. Of those attendees, 25,928 were international attendees. In all, 151 countries were represented at the convention. The number of press members attending the show reached 1652.
The number of exhibitors grew as well. The trade organization said 1600 exhibitors covered some 815,000sq ft of exhibit space at the show. Those figures are up from 1150 exhibitors in 2011 and a total of 745,000sq ft of exhibition space.
The 2012 NAB Show was held April 14-19 in Las Vegas.
