Hollywood Camera Works presents the Blackmagic Camera for their 2013 series of seminars.
Director/DP & Co-Founder of the Hollywood Camera Work Seminars, Ari Golan, selects the Blackmagic Cinema Camera for their 2013 series. The critically acclaimed hands-on workshops kick off Friday March 1st in New York with the three-day Green Screen Intensive.
Golan remarks, “We chose the Blackmagic camera for several reasons, including its raw image recording capability, streamlined workflow, 13-stop dynamic range and 2.5K resolution, but the most significant factor", he continues, “was its exceptional affinity for color rendition with its full 12-bit 4:4:4 color bit depth, truly placing it in a class of its own and making it the ultimate capture machine for match-moving and critical green screen compositing.”
The 3-part seminar series is taught by lead instructor and co-founder, Per Holmes. The workshops take place in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. They cover all aspects of lighting, tracking marker placement and directorial considerations for achieving high-level green screen shots. The second and third Camera Directing workshops are the Advanced Raw Camera Technique and the Master Class in Staging & Blocking.
