Camio, an acronym for Chyron Asset Management and Interoperability, is an architecture that enables template-based graphics to be centrally created, stored and distributed in a "hub and spoke" system. Liberty's implementation will enable its stations to take advantage of content creation techniques and maintain corporate branding, while allowing each station to have a unique local look.
Each station, as it phases in the Camio system, will use a mirrored Duet LEX system for 2D/3D playout, as well as a Camio server for asset management, local storage, and transport.
