The HD8021 can convert 24 frame video to 60 frames per second and convert between interlace and progressive signals and vice versa.
The new HD8021 from Cobalt Digital is a versatile monitoring tool for high and standard definition video that allows users to view HD, SD or SDI signals on a wide range of monitors, including analog or digital HD, analog or digital SD, or XGA analog displays.
The HD8021 accepts dual-rate HD/SD SMPTE-292 digital inputs and can up convert or down convert the incoming signal. Ten-bit processing is used throughout, and digital outputs (HD/SD) and analog outputs (HD/SD/XGA) are standard. The unit also can change the aspect ratio of the input signal to 4x3 or 16x9.
The HD8021 can convert 24 frame video to 60 frames per second and convert between interlace and progressive signals and vice versa. The unit has user configurable reticule overlays and digital embedded audio pass-through. User setups are done with external switches or via serial PC interface.
