16x9 introduces Lux-LED light for DV, broadcast cameras

The new 16x9 Lux-LED-DV and Lux-LED camera lights by Bebob Engineering offer users a variable focus range based on the arrangement of the system’s five high-output LEDs.

The lights support stepless variable focus at an angle of 40 degrees to 60 degrees. Output is fully dimmable with daylight color temperature at full saturations. A cooling system is included to keep the lights cool to the touch.

Through its use of high-efficiency LED technology, the Lux-LED-DV is capable of generating greater brightness at a lower power consumption compared to standard tungsten light systems. The system comes equipped with an inline power supply adapter that enables the Lux-LED-DV to run directly off standard Canon BP, Panasonic CGA or Sony NPF L camera batteries.

The company’s Lux-LED for broadcast cameras incorporates the same arrangement of LEDs and variable focus as the Lux-LED-DV. It also shares many features of the original Lux camera light. Its three-in-one design allows it to be used on a camera, handheld or stand mounted.
