Calrec to roll out System Plus specifications

Mar 3, 2005 9:21 AM, NAB Update e-newsletter

At NAB2005, Calrec will unveil System Plus, a platform of upgraded specifications designed to meet the needs of broadcasters, for its Alpha, Sigma and Zeta consoles.

Among the higher specifications are greatly expanded monitoring options with full user configurability, and a fully adaptable and flexible color TFT metering system.

System Plus also facilitates the introduction of Calrec’s 5.1 source input capability. To meet the increasing demand for a simple and fast means of handling and processing 5.1 surround sources as single inputs, the design allows for comprehensive adjustment of individual discrete elements.

All existing Calrec consoles may be upgraded with System Plus elements.
