The Doremi Labs MCS-HD four-channel HD video server takes advantage of JPEG2000 video compression.
At NAB2005, Doremi Labs will show the integration of JPEG2000 video compression technology into its single and multichannel HD video servers.
JPEG2000 can provide two hours of near uncompressed quality video on one SCSI hard drive.
Doremi Labs will show JPEG2000 compression used with its V1-HD video disk recorder. The V1-HD features HD-SDI and SDI in/out and functions as a drop-in replacement for any HD VTR. The V1-HD also features an independent record and play option, and a dual-link HD-SDI option.
Doremi Labs also will feature its new MCS-HD four-channel HD video server. The MCS-HD Server has two record and two play, independent HD video channels with shared storage and selectable compression rates.
