EVS to spotlight IP Director GUI

Sep 1, 2005 8:00 AM, IBC Update e-newsletter

EVS will highlight its new IP Director graphical user interface for its servers at IBC2005.

IP Director delivers a complete suite of Windows GUI applications allowing for full control of an EVS networked environment. It allows multiple servers to be controlled from the central GUI, creating the feeling of controlling one large server with many channels while producing redundancy and multiple points of safety as the application spans the EVS servers across the network.

IP Director applications combine with the EVS networked servers enabling a collaborative, tapeless workflow to unify the production environment. Options include ingest, logging, asset management, browsing, editing, all the way through to play out.

The IP Control Panel allows the control of any specific channel of any EVS servers from any IP remote workstation. The IP Control Panel’s flexibility allows channels to be synced for multiple channel playback and control without taking heavy network bandwidth.
