In support of ongoing digital terrestrial television (DTT) deployments, Radio Frequency Systems will show its family of high-performance coaxial RF filters at IBC2005.
Designed to meet European standards for digital transmitter masking, the 8PX series filters also offer ultra-compact and flexible solutions for adjacent and semi-adjacent channel combining.
Three sizes of the 8PX series filters are available: the two smaller sizes (50mm and 100mm coaxial cavities) are configured in-line, while the 200mm version has a folded construction for maximum compactness. Each filter exhibits sharp attenuation of out-of channel frequencies: selectivity at 4.2MHz from the center frequency (for 8MHz channels) is 9dB.
