Ross Video and Editware have struck a deal by which Ross will offer the Editware Fastrack edit controller in packages with Synergy switchers.
The Synergy series of digital production switchers includes both Synergy SD for standard definition applications and Synergy MD for multi-definition applications (both standard and high definition formats). The Synergy series production switchers are designed to work in virtually any live production environment or as post-production editing switchers.
The Fastrack SE is a hybrid linear/nonlinear editor designed to interface and control disk-based video servers with the additional benefit of being able to control VTRs, mixers, production switchers, character generators and other peripheral devices.
